Geology Rocks!

Our last day of school before spring break included a buddy presentation. The primary classrooms were invited to enjoy the Columbia River Gorge-adapted play Geology Rocks, performed by our buddies. Our class performed three poems from Earthshake: Poems from the Ground Up by Lisa Westberg Peters. Together we sang the song “Rock Cycle”. Students did a great job!

Student made backdrops!

Enjoy your Spring Break! See you Tuesday, March 29th.

*apologies for not getting any pictures of our poets! I was too busy “directing”.

Bekah Tucker About Bekah Tucker

This is my eighth year as a primary classroom teacher, previously working as a special education teaching assistant and an english preschool teacher in Prague.

Outside of teaching, my passions are traveling, trying new restaurants, strong coffee, being with friends and family, and enjoying the beauty of the Columbia River Gorge.

I love being a Corbett teacher!
