Corbett Travel Club will be traveling to Italy and Greece in early June, 2012. We are an organization of Middle School students, (and former MS students), teachers and parents who travel to wonderful places together, learn a lot, and have a great time. Most recently, in 2010, we traveled to the east coast to explore Washington DC and civil war battlefields. This year, we’ll study ancient civilizations up close in Italy and Greece. In you are interested, please join us for an informational meeting on September 28th, Wednesday, from 5:30 – 6:30 in the grade school cafeteria, and contact Mrs. Church at the Middle School (503-261-4206 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
Carrie Church loves teaching at Corbett Middle School. She has taught kids from pre-kindergarten through middle school, in almost all imaginable combinations. Before moving her family to Corbett, Carrie has lived in Alaska, Indiana, Michigan, and northern Italy. Carrie still loves to travel to new places and learn new things, and especially loves teaching science. She has three kids who attend Corbett School, goats and chickens, too much garden, and an indulgent husband.
