News and Events from the Trillium Room
This week in the Trillium Room we wrapped up our salmon unit with a traditional salmon dance. Students recited Native American words and listened to stories from the past. We thank Heidi and Ken from the Warm Springs Reservation for the wonderful presentation. In other exciting salmon news, our salmon eggs have hatched and are now active little alevin. Watching them grow has been an exciting process so far! Next, we will be starting a unit on trees!
A few reminders to note:
- No school Monday, Veterans Day. We will have school Friday the 16th.
- Students are bringing home a list of materials needed for various upcoming projects.
- Picture retake day is on Nov. 14th.
Enjoy your holiday weekend!
