We have many reasons to be Thankful!

Our staff in the Corbett Arts Program with Spanish at the Springdale School have much to be thankful for. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our community and especially the efforts of the SSCA (Springdale School Community Association) for helping make this school a reality!

The grand reopening celebration that was held on Saturday the 17th was well attended, and I would like to thank all the volunteers who came out to help with that. We had parent volunteers manning the cider station in the play shed and helping to clean for the event, Officer Graziano and community volunteers (Larry, Rhonda, Deb and Eli) directing traffic, SSCA volunteers with displays, staff volunteers doing whatever was needed and more!

Our program is running smoothly with the help of many parent volunteers. THANK YOU! Our kids and teachers are lucky to have such dedicated adults willing to organize a garden, help with instrumental music instruction, clean up our classrooms, organize events, and so much more! (Also a special thanks to our non-parent volunteers – Steve, Tim, Gary, Charlie, and others!!)

Finally, I would like to publicly thank the staff here at Springdale School – Nancy Gyerko, Linda Berg, Aaron Long, Abby Steichen, Chris Phillips, Sara Brounstein, Vanessa Knight, Lynette Waldo, and Robin – our custodian. It is a joy to work with you all.

Happy Thanksgiving
