Are You Mindful of Play?

Greetings from Corbett Preschool!  I hope you’re all thoroughly enjoying the break.  Mrs. Nikki, Mrs. Rousse, and I all wanted to say thank you for all the gifts and treats!  We really appreciate it – what a way to kick off the holidays!

While you’re spending some extra time with loved ones this holiday season, Deborah over at Teach Preschool (one of my favorite blogs), reminds us to look for the extraordinary in the ordinary.  She recently posted an article that I just had to share. Titled, “Remarkable learning through ordinary play,” she encourages us to be observers and partners in our children’s play, and reminds us that seemingly ‘boring old’ play can quickly turn into a fantastic learning moment.

I encourage us all to look for the remarkable over this holiday break!
