This Is What Happened! Week 4, by Shelby Gantenbein

Every week one student in our class gets to sit out the super quiz and write the weekly update.  This week’s update was done by 6th grader Shelby Gantenbein.  Thanks, Shelby!

This week in Mr. Houck’s class we did 10 new vocab words. They were some hard words at first, but we figured it out. I think vocab is fun.

We did some dichotomous keys. Everyone got a partner in the classroom. Every group got a bag of sixteen things. What was fun was we got make names for the things in the bag. I think everybody had fun on the dichotomous key. Everybody finished them.

Everybody is still working on their choose your own adventure stories. Everybody has water colored the front page for their choose your own adventure book. Everybody has almost finished the beginning of their choose your own adventure. Yay!

We are still working on religions. This week we learned about Islam. What we learned about is girls wear a fabric so they don’t show their hair. I think those things would make you hot.

The fun part is Buck Creek. At Buck Creek we were catching some macro invertebrates. I was in a group with Robyn, and we caught some things that are cool! When we came down to the creek a lot of people in our class found some fish that looked pretty. Most of them couldn’t find anything. This is what we did this week.
