The Spirits in the Box of Your Week! Week 8 in Houck’s Class, by Ian Radmacher

Every week one student in our class gets to sit out the super quiz and write the weekly update.  This week’s update was done by 8th grader Ian Radmacher.  Thanks, Ian!

This week in Mr. Houck’s class we learned how to edit our Choose Your Own Adventures. If you don’t know what those are, they are short stories that, as you read, you can choose how you want the story to go. We also took pictures for our stories. They were action shots of our scenes.

My favorite part of this week was going on our second religious field trip. We visited a Buddhist temple and an Anglican church. We didn’t have to bring a lunch because we went to an awesome restaurant called Hoda’s Middle Eastern Cuisine.  We ate: chicken kabobs, humus and pitas with chopped parsley and basil, rice, and rose leaf tea.

Our C.Y.O.A’s were due on Thursday, and that is this week in a nutshell.
