There is so much to do!

I love this time of year!  We are rolling headfirst into winter and the students are thoroughly engaged in all that we are doing!  It’s so much fun to watch them learn and grow on a daily basis.

If you’ve been keeping tabs on us, you saw my earlier post about the unit assignments for our studies of the middle ages.  Please take a quick peek, if you’ve not already done so, as the calendar within should be really helpful.  Students may be doing a good bit of research at home – AWESOME – to facilitate this process, I’m linking our “works cited” information (also known as a bibliography).  Feel free to offer some support using our “research guidelines” as well.

In addition to Christendom, we are still working on life science.  We began our study of cells this week and students should be working on “metaphorical cell models”.  This is a group project which may require some time after school or over the weekend for students to work together and plan.  I’m hoping to be able to give students ample class time next week so that they can effectively meet the November 21st deadline.
