Mark Your Calendars! Playing Cards Winter Review and Spring Auditions!

The first ever show produced by the new K – 12 Corbett Performing Arts Club, The Playing Cards, will be performed next Friday and Saturday, January 24th and 25th at Springdale School! Show times are 7:00 pm both nights, with a Saturday 3:00 showing. The cost for this first show is absolutely free. Corbett students, in the primary grades through high school seniors, will perform a variety of skits, musical numbers, and scenes from shows including Rent, Wicked, A Chorus Line, Fiddler on the Roof, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and others. Bring the family for some great winter entertainment.

In addition to the current Winter Review, stay posted for the Playing Cards’ spring show, Anything Goes, to be performed the second and third weeks in April. Audition dates and information will be forthcoming.

Carrie Church loves teaching at Corbett Middle School. She has taught kids from pre-kindergarten through middle school, in almost all imaginable combinations. Before moving her family to Corbett, Carrie has lived in Alaska, Indiana, Michigan, and northern Italy. Carrie still loves to travel to new places and learn new things, and especially loves teaching science. She has three kids who attend Corbett School, goats and chickens, too much garden, and an indulgent husband.
