Respiratory Story: Week 27 by Emily Reyna

Every week one student in our class gets to sit out the super quiz and write the weekly update.  This week’s update was done by 6th grader Emily Reyna.  Thanks, Emily!

This week in Mr. Houck’s class we finished our group lessons, where we had the students teach the class for 30 minutes about the Renaissance and acted it out. We’re also close to finishing our 4th class read-aloud book.

In book groups this week we all got ready for picture day were all the students dress up, make props and act out a scene from the book. This Thursday we took our pictures and now we’re done.

On Tuesday we had a lecture on the respiratory system. It’s one of the many systems we are learning about. After 12 weeks we will have done all of them. We’ve already started and we’re doing great. To have a little more fun with our learning of the systems, Mr. Houck set up a Jeopardy game for the class. All the questions included something we had studied. Next week we will review all the systems we have studied.

We have spent lots of time taking notes, so I hope that everybody has been taking their notes, mostly because we have the big test on these coming up.
