After Thoughts: Week 30, by Bradley King

Every week one student in our class gets to sit out the super quiz and write the weekly update.  This week’s update was done by 7th grader Bradley King.  Thanks, Bradley!

This week in Mr. Houck’s class we studied the digestive system and how it works.    On Wednesday we went to eat lunch at the park. After we ate lunch we went on a hike down the Springwater Corridor Trail to pick up trash. It also gave us an hour of service and luckily it was a super sunny nice day out. Once we were done going on a hike we went to the library to get books on the poets that we are studying. At the library they also had a number of different books that we were able to look through. The people at the library were also very helpful in helping get us library cards that we used to check out books.

On Thursday we played digestive jeopardy and the winning team was Kaya, Ponci, Caleb and Rizen, who had around 2600 points. We also worked a great deal on our After Poems and on our animal trading cards, which are due on Thursday. To finish off the week we worked on poems, then went to electives.
