AP Scholars to Be Honored at the School Board Meeting Wednesday September 16 at 7:00 by Randy Trani

I am happy to announce that the Corbett School Board will once again be honoring student that have been named an AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, AP Scholar with Distinction or a National AP Scholar by the College Board.  This places these students in an elite group of students from across the country and is a testament to their hard work and the support they have received from parents, guardians, and teachers.

Students should have already received notification from the College Board regarding their recognition as an AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, AP Scholar with Distinction or a National AP Scholar.  Additionally, students who are currently enrolled will receive a hand delivered invitation to the ceremony;  graduates will receive their invitation in the mail.  Parents if you know your student received notification  from the College Board that they were named an AP Scholar or higher make sure you ask them about their invitation to the awards ceremony!

The hard work of these students is commendable and I want to invite everyone to a short awards ceremony on September 16th at the Corbett School Board of Directors regularly scheduled board meeting at 7:00 in the MPB.  Each student will be recognized in front of the Board of Directors and receive a small gift in recognition of their dedication.  The awards ceremony will begin after the initial Board protocols of each board meeting.

We hope to see you all there to honor these remarkable students!
