Local planner to help with consensus development for bond measure. by Randy Trani

The district has engaged the services of a local collaborative planner to help with outreach and consensus development for a facilities bond measure on the May 2016 Ballot. Our recent award of $4 million in state grants is contingent upon our ability to pass a GO bond, so we want to make sure your questions are answered and your ideas are heard.
Michelle Gregory has a professional background in community-based planning for public infrastructure projects, neighborhoods, transportation facilities and campus environments. Michelle believes it is time for us to reinvest in our infrastructure and leverage the funds the state is offering. She has worked in other communities such Milwaukie, Oregon City, Damascus, Gresham, Missoula and several places in the Columbia Gorge, where growth challenges and infrastructure needs have been well-served by robust community participation in the planning process.
Michelle and her family have lived on their family farm in Corbett since 2005 and her children go to school here. She has volunteered in various school activities, has served as Treasurer of the Columbia Grange, and she also served five years on the Multnomah County Planning Commission. Please feel free to connect with Michelle if you have questions regarding the bond proposal, would like to schedule a presentation to a group, tour the school facilities or if you just want to get involved and don’t know how!
