First and foremost, I sent fall conference sign-up sheets home with your students on Tuesday for the conferences in two weeks (Oct. 19th and 20th). Slots are being filled on a first-come, first-served basis. So far I have heard back from exactly half of the students.
Secondly, I am excited to read the students’ on-demand argumentative papers that they just finished today. We spent two weeks researching and honing our arguments for this writing session, and I am pleased to report that everyone seems to be improving at arguing and structuring argumentative writing.
Also, we moved from mitosis to meiosis, while we began a new creative project focusing on homophones, and students are continuing to make progress on their religion brochures.
Have a great weekend.
