Happiness, Crusading and New Books for Week 17

This weeks blog post brought to you by Evan Kreps!!!

Hello students and parents of Corbett, welcome back from winter break!  We started back with our happiness assignment.  We listed everything that makes us happy then watched a video on happiness telling us that you don’t need nice things to make you happy. Doing good things staying healthy and being around our loved ones is what makes us the happiest. To finish it off we are writing a letter to Mr. Leone telling him what we can do to make us happy after we watched the video.

We also got our books we were supposed to read over winter break but we did not get to it because of weather. Speaking of books, we finished our read aloud book Wrinkle in Time.

We will be having our Medieval Festival January 11, don’t forget to sign up for your turkey dinner!   Our guilds cranked out some fantastic stuff that will be for sale from 4-6 p.m.  Dinner and entertainment will start around 6 ish.

This morning we did our Crusades reenactment where we went around the school answering questions about the Crusades in the Middle Ages.  Whoever answered the questions correctly and came back first won Feudal Farthings.  It was a fun time.
