Obfuscation, Mitosis Oreos, and The Medici’s, week 20 by America Garcia

There is so much going on, I don’t even now where to start!

First, we started with the skeletal system and learned where bones were and what their actual name was. We had a quiz today, ask your student how that went.  Along with the skeletal system, we also learned about the mitosis and did a since project with oreo cookies and sprinkles. we had to memorize it because we have a quiz on it today (1/26/17)

Along with the skeletal system, we also learned about mitosis (cell division) and did a science project with oreo cookies and sprinkles where we showed the different phases.

Then we started talking about interviews, where each kid had to find a person that had a disease or disorder and interview them by February 2, 2017.

We also learned how to obfuscate.   We got to pick a partner, a song and then we had to use a thesaurus to make the original lyrics more complicated. On Tuesday we started taking notes on the movie about the Medici’s, we started the movie because we are starting to learn about the renaissance and about some important people. There are four chapters to the movie and we just finished the first chapter, we learned a lot in that first chapter.
