We will leave at 6am from Corbett HS, and will return in the early evening.

What is Duck Preview? Who should attend?

Duck Preview is a fall open house designed to give high school juniors and seniors and transfer students a head start on the college search process.

At Duck Preview, you’ll:

Take a campus tour led by an experienced UO student ambassador
Learn what a liberal arts education embedded in a top-tier research university can do for you
Explore your academic interests with outstanding UO faculty
Hear about dozens of ways to get involved in campus life beyond the classroom
Discover numerous services designed to support student success
Speak with admissions counselors, financial aid and academic advisors, and housing representatives

Portland State University Preview Day – Saturday, October 21st

Preview Day is an event hosted by the Office of Admissions for high school seniors and their guests. Don’t miss this great day of activities and opportunities to speak with current students, staff and faculty! Attendees will receive a warm welcome from admissions staff, hear from different academic departments, get an overview of PSU’s student services (Financial Aid and Scholarships, University Housing, Advising and Career Services), tour our 50 acre campus and eat lunch. Registration will begin in late September.

High school seniors and transfer students who wish attend Western Oregon University Fall Term 2018 are invited to attend the workshop. Staff from the Office of Admissions will help students fill out the application for undergraduate admission. Students also will receive an overview of scholarship opportunities, tour the campus and enjoy a complimentary lunch.

High school juniors or younger students are encouraged to attend our other visit events listed here. The Admission Application Workshop is specifically intended for high school seniors and transfer students who are ready to apply to WOU for Fall Term 2018.

Students are required to register for the workshop and seating is limited. Registration for family members and guests is limited to one per student. Online registration will close at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30th.

Required Documents:
Students attending this workshop will complete the application for admission with WOU staff during the event and do not need to complete the application ahead of time. Attendees will not be required to pay the $60 application processing fee. However, they should bring official transcripts in a sealed envelope. Please review detailed information for freshmen or transfer students to determine if additional items should be submitted.
