Goodbye 2017!

What a full, exciting, inspiring, and challenging Fall we had! Along with our buddies, students are learning about the Harvest of the Month. December: Cranberries! Students built 3D structures with cranberries and toothpicks, did a taste test of juices, and learned interesting facts about this amazing little fruit!

We won an ice cream party for raising the most money for the Jog-A-Thon! Thanks to all who contributed to this amazing fundraising effort. Students loved their floats. Thanks PTA!

December is for hibernating! Students learned about animals that hibernate, migrate and adapt in the winter months. A celebration of learning culminated in a day of jammies and books. Even our class Elf got into the spirit.

Ms. Grace, Mr. David and Ms. Mikayla shared their favorite books with us.

Carter and Chance get cozy with their favorites!

Ms. Kaitlin came for a day of seasonal crafts, gift-making and snacks! Here students paint snowman ornaments and picture frames.

Next up: Decorate a tree!

Tanner, dressed the part, became our full-size class elf!

Santa surprised our class with a book for everyone!

We were treated to performances from both the middle school choir, and the high school strings!

The Friendship Stockings were hung with care and enjoyed immensely!

Ready to embrace the new year together, starting Monday!

Bekah Tucker About Bekah Tucker

This is my eighth year as a primary classroom teacher, previously working as a special education teaching assistant and an english preschool teacher in Prague.

Outside of teaching, my passions are traveling, trying new restaurants, strong coffee, being with friends and family, and enjoying the beauty of the Columbia River Gorge.

I love being a Corbett teacher!
