CCS Middle School

Corbett Charter Middle School (CCS Middle) consists in three multi-age classrooms serving students in grades seven and eight. These are Imaginative Education classrooms, and at the Middle School level that means Romantic Understanding, with its focus on the attributes of  literacy.  The cognitive tools related to Romantic Understanding include an increased concern with realism, with more complex story lines, the limits of human experience, revolt and idealism, humanizing meaning and the hero.  This year’s Middle School theme is Ancient Civilizations.  Parents will be amazed at the expo in which students demonstrate their learning through various media.
