Kaiser Permanente Health Care Career Scholarship – Register by December 8th

2018-2019 Kaiser Permanente Health Care Career Scholarship

We are pleased to announce the eleventh year of the Kaiser Permanente Health Care Career Scholarship Program! This year, we will continue to offer a scholarship to at least one qualified student at each eligible high school.  In addition, up to 25 percent of the scholarships awarded will be for $5,000 or $10,000. The deadline to apply is Friday, December 15, 2018, 5 p.m. PST

See below for key details. In addition, mid to late September,  your school will receive packets containing posters and materials to help inform students about the scholarship.

(Simply click the “Scholarship Application” link under the “For applicants” heading)

NOTE: Registration for the application will close on December 8, one week ahead of the submission deadline (Dec. 15) to ensure that applicants have time to successfully complete required tasks.

TEACHER/COUNSELOR NOMINATION:

Applicants need only one recommendation in the form of a nomination from a teacher or counselor. As soon as the applicant has entered the teacher/counselor nominator’s email address into the application, the nominator will receive an email with instructions for confidentially submitting the nomination online. The applicant will not be able to submit his/her application until the nominator has submitted the nomination.  Click here for nomination instructions.

INTERVIEWS:

We will continue to interview only those applicants being considered for the full spectrum of award amounts ($2,000, $5,000, and $10,000). Students invited to interview are not guaranteed a scholarship in any amount. Students not invited to interview may still be under consideration for a $2,000 scholarship.
