Oregon English Language Learner Report (2017-2018):
The Oregon English Language Learner Report is an annual publication required by law (ORS 327.016), which reports on financial information for English language learner programs, the objectives and needs of students eligible for and enrolled in an English language learner program, as well as provides information on the demographics of students in English language learner programs in each school district. In addition, this report provides a tool that makes data on English language learners accessible to researchers, media, students, and parents.

HB3499EL Outcome Improvement:
House Bill 3499 was adopted by the 2015 Legislature as a comprehensive approach to improving educational opportunities for students who are English Language Learners (ELL). The bill directs the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) to identify districts for interventions and to provide technical assistance. ODE to identify two types of school districts:
- Transformation Districts – 15 districts to receive interventions and targeted assistance.
- Target Districts – 25 districts to receive only targeted assistance.
