Dear Corbett district families,
My name is Jakob Witczak and I am an 8th grader in Ms. Dummer’s class. For my service project, I chose to support the Community Transitional School located in NE Portland. The Community Transitional School is dedicated entirely to the needs of children whose families are homeless, living in shelters, motels, cars or other transitional housing and experiencing chronic poverty-related crises. They serve students from ages 5 to 14.
For those of you who are able, I am asking you to help support my service project by donating items from the Community Transitional School’s wish list below. Donations can be dropped off in the black tote located near the middle school office from May 7th – May 15th.
Should you wish to learn more about Community Transitional School please visit their website at http://www.transitionalschool.org/
Thank you,
Jakob Witczak
