The reason for this re-testing was due to a high reading in this one room which occurred when radon testing was done over winter break. As a continuing part of the Healthy and Safe Schools Plan, over winter break fifteen locations were tested for radon levels in the Springdale building and twenty-seven locations were tested in the high school building. The results informed us that with the exception of one location in the high school (copy room) all of those locations had results below the EPA Action Level.
