Corbett School District is located at 35800 E Historic Columbia River Highway in Corbett, Oregon (97019). Just 22 miles from downtown Portland Oregon unincorporated Corbett Oregon hosts Corbett School District (CSD) in a picturesque setting. Primarily a rural community, with an ever increasing bedroom community for people who work in Portland, Corbett enjoys hosting CSD. As the primary employer in the community CSD serves a critical leadership role in local politics.
Corbett School District (CSD), is a Charter District located at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge –a national scenic area– is widely recognized as one of the highest performing districts in the state of Oregon. Serving about 1057 students in two schools, Corbett School and Corbett Arts Program with Spanish (CAPS), the district embraces a continuous progress model, multi-age instruction, place-based education, as well as a rigorous program known as Advanced Placement (AP) for ALL at the high school level. The AP for All program has garnered national attention for CSD with recognition by Newsweek and The Washington Post. Both publications have identified Corbett High School as one of the top 10 schools for AP participation in the nation.
- To get to Corbett School District from I-84, take exit 22 (Corbett) and head up Corbett Hill Rd. approximately two miles. At the top of the hill, take the fork to your right. Corbett School will be on your left about ¼ mile from the top of Corbett Hill Rd.
- To get to Corbett School District from the Gresham/Troutdale area you can take Stark St. east, cross the Sandy River and turn right onto the Historic Columbia River Highway. Continue east on the highway through Springdale and into Corbett – about 2½ miles. The school will be on your right.
